Why I Ride
---------------
I'm a member of a business community called Business Blueprint, headed by Dale Beaumont. Since 2014 Dale has led hundreds of business owners and entrepreneurs on an annual 500 km charity bike ride in Thailand that has now raised $2 million for Hands Across the Water.

It hasn’t come without its challenges but this is a team that will never give up!

I did the ride this year (2019), and I've signed up to do it again in March 2020 - this time alongside my business assistant Francis Mwanu - once a sponsor child himself!

Together we're raising $10K because every child deserves to live a life of choice - regardless of where they are on earth.

Last year I experienced first hand the poverty and difficulties that displaced children face and I'm determined - with your help - to give as many as possible access to a safe home, food, clothing, education and above all, love.

Hands Across the Water supports 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand. The charity started out addressing the needs of kids who didn't have homes or access to food, clothing and medicine. As the kids have grown and matured, the focus has shifted to education and future employment opportunities. Today, access to new and exciting opportunities for the kids is just as important as a loving home and a belly full of healthy food.

Your donation will help provide a high standard of care, a chance at a better education and a future that they never envisioned.

100% of your donation will go straight to the kids and their communities in Thailand with not one cent spent on administration or marketing. For real! All costs associated with running the charity are separately funded through functions, workshops and speaking engagements - this makes Hands unique amongst charities that dilute your donation by 30% or even more.
